Our cross country course is always expanding and currently offers a variety of fences traversing across open fields and wooded terrain. Check out the virtual rides for more information and pictures. 

Horse Trial Divisions:

  Dressage X-Cty and Stadium
Pre-Elementary USDF 2011 Intro Test C  maximum 2
Elementary USEF 2014 Beginner Novice Test A maximum 2' 3"
Beg Novice USEF 2014 Beginner Novice Test B maximum 2’ 7"
Novice USEF 2014 Novice Test A maximum 2’ 11"

Combined Test Divisions (Dressage and Stadium only) same as above or higher by request.

Dressage Only Divisions: 

Dressage tests may be chosen from any of the USEF 2014 Eventing tests or 2011 Dressage tests.

*All Dressage tests will be ridden in a small arena.

Please enclose copy of your current coggins test (within 1 year) with your entry.

Closing date: 1 week prior to the show date. Post entries will be accepted if space allows for a $20 fee.

General Information:

Entry Fee $115 Horse Trial division
$80 Combined Test division

$60 Dressage only division  (minimum of 2 tests)

$20 late fee for all entries accepted after closing date.
Prizes Ribbons to 6th place will be awarded in each division
Rules Competition will follow USEA rules.
Food Will be available on the grounds to benefit Barnstable Pony Club
Dogs Must be leashed at all times.
Times Will be available on our website
the Wednesday before the show.
Refunds Before closing date will be full amount less $25 office fee. After closing date no refunds will be given unless space can be filled. $20 fee for all changes after closing date or returned checks.
  • There are a few stalls available Saturday night/Sunday for a $40 fee.
  • Motorized vehicles are allowed in the parking lot only.
  • Please no non-competing horses on the property.
  • $20 for additional stadium rounds


Valinor Farm is located off route 3 in Plymouth Mass approximately 50 miles south of Boston.

From Route 3 south take exit 3, at the end of the ramp turn left.  Take your second right onto Old Sandwich rd. (a dirt road)  Valinor Farm is 2 miles down on the right.

From Route 3 north take exit 2. At end of ramp turn left. Then turn Left onto route 3A north. Follow route 3A north for approx 5 miles. Turn left onto Ship Pond rd. Follow to end, at end turn right onto Old Sandwich rd. Farm is next left 1067 Old Sandwich Rd.
