9/9/2022. Dr Dana Pantano will be here on Tuesday October 11 for fall vaccinations. Please be sure to have your passports out for me if you want them stamped. As most of you know Rich Fruzzetti will no longer be traveling up this way so he has recommended Nate Viera for our Equine dentist. Nate will be here on October 11th as well. I’ll have sign up sheets for both in the indoor tack room. Please make sure you have a check here for Nate if you want your horse done that day.
8/16/2022 We are looking for volunteers to help run our schooling show on Sunday August 21st. If you can help please contact Robyn. I need a few ring stewards, a dressage scribe and X-Cty judges. It’s not a large show so it wont be a long day. Thanks!
4/17/2021 Black Pond Vet Service will be here on April 21 and then again on May 12 for spring vaccines. Rich Fruzetti (Equine dentist) will be here on May 12th as well. I’ll have sign up sheets in the tack room, please be sure to sign up if you want your horse included.
6/2/21 In case you missed it… We have created a trot / canter set loop around our old cranberry bog. We’ve improved the footing in this area with gravel and would really like everyone to use this loop for trot and canter sets in an effort to preserve the grass turf. Our soil is so sandy and the grass is fragile. It will not hold up to all our riders trotting over the same areas. Thank you for understanding
5/29/21 Yay for Massachusetts re-opening guidelines! We will no longer require masks in the barn or logging visits. Thank you all for co-operating so well with these requirements and we are thrilled that they are no longer necessary.
5/19/21 During shows we block the driveway with cones and a sign to steer competitors into the parking field. Boarders should go around the cones to use the driveway and park near the barn as usual.
2/14/21 – as many of you know Halifax Veterinary Service will no longer be offering services for large animals. We will begin scheduling Spring and Fall vaccination clinics with BlackPond Vet Service this April. Please download and send in this New Client Information sheet if you choose to use them for routine and emergency care. Please be sure to update your stall card with whatever vet you choose to use for emergency services.
*Our barn rules have been updated as of December – please read them. If you have others riding your horses please make sure they have all read them as well. Our Fee schedule has been updated effective January 1st.
